COMMUNITY IMPACT

Our vision is to eradicate hopelessness with the relentless love of Jesus. This calling starts by being actively involved in our community. Here are just a few of the ways are serving our community.

Community Impact Room

The Community Impact Room at GracePointe provides assistance with food and clothing for those in need. It's open every Thursday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and is open to everyone in our community. For more information on serving in this ministry or if you have questions on getting assistance, call the church office at (503) 654-9593 or stop by on Thursday.

BACKPACK BUDDIES

We partner with the North Clackamas School District through the Backpack Buddy Program. This thriving program reaches numerous schools within the district. When school is not in session, many children are hungry, so GracePointe is sending food home with children at Seth Lewelling Elementary, Ardenwald Elementary, and the Head Start Preschool on River Road every Friday to help meet this need. We also provide healthy afternoon snacks for students at Rowe Middle School.

trunk or treat

Every October 31st we offer a safe, fun filled evening for our community! Here you will find food, carnival games, inflatables and of course lots of candy! Dress up and go "trick or treating" from trunk to trunk and receive tons of safe candy while enjoying the decorations. The best part is this event is 100% FREE and ALL are welcome!

Rowe Middle School

GracePointe has adopted Rowe as OUR school. We provide school supplies for students who cannot afford them, appreciation lunches for teachers and administration two times per year, help with renovation projects, student housing needs, and other needs when they arise.

Embrace Oregon

We stand in the gap for vulnerable children and families in
partnership with the Department of Human Services through providing welcome boxes for kids placed in foster care, supporting the staff at our local DHS centers, and various other methods of support.

Love one laundry / laundry love

We have partnered with LoveOne Laundry Milwaukie - a neighboring movement that partners with groups and local laundromats to wash the clothes and bedding of low-income and/or no-income families and individuals. This event happens the second Monday of each month at Milwaukie Laundry, and is staffed by GracePointe volunteers. We are always accepting donations of non-perishable grab and go foods, personal hygiene products, food for small dogs, and quarters for the machines.

FIRST IMAGE

First Image has been working to live out God’s heart to renew his image in the lives of those that have been impacted by sexual brokenness and abortion. Every year, we gather donations for the Steps for Life benefit walk. We also gather donations of clothing and supplies for expecting mothers.

THANKSGIVING FOOD BOXES

Every year, we give out food boxes to families in need in our community.

GLOBAL IMPACT

Our vision of eradicating hopelessness with the relentless love of Jesus extends beyond the borders of our own community. We are equally committed to building strategic partnerships across around the globe to meet peoples needs and spread the good news of Jesus’ love. These are some of our faithful ministries and individuals that we are honored to partner with and support.
